Stepping Out And Reconnecting (SOAR)

SOAR is an innovative program created by Senior Support Program of the Tri-Valley.

SOAR combines recreational, therapeutic, and educational activities to inspire seniors 60 years or older to re-engage in their community. Seniors learn about nutrition, medication management, healthy lifestyle choices, stress management, and connecting with others. This bi-monthly program works to holistically improve overall well-being and provide essential support. As one participant claims, “I felt isolated and depressed before the program, and now I have this wonderful group who has gone through similar experiences; SOAR has changed my life.” SOAR is a free service with no current funding partner(s).

Senior Support Program of the Tri-Valley (based in Pleasanton, Ca) (#20-3225569) is a non-profit organization which has delivered comprehensive services to seniors aged 60 and older since 1981. Our mission is to provide seniors with services and assistance to foster independence, promote well-being, preserve dignity and improve quality of life.
